​"Breathtaking landscapes and top-tier local guides!" As an avid hiker, the Simien Mountains were a dream destination, and our tour company made it unforgettable. Our mountain guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the local terrain, safety, and endemic wildlife—we managed to spot troops of Gelada baboons up close and even caught a glimpse of a rare Ethiopian wolf! The Danakil Depression is harsh, hot, and utterly otherworldly—and doing it with a reliable operator is non-negotiable.
