Arrival at Addis Ababa to be meet by MET Tours at the Air port
Addis – Ziway – Langano
Drive to the Rift Valley Lake of Langano. Along the way stop at one of the crater lakesof Bishoftu, and at Lake Ziway which is rich in their birdlife. At Lake Langano, enjoy swimming as it is free from Bilharzias, and you may spot various birds here. O/N Tourist Hotel.

Langano – Arba Minch
After breakfast, drive to Arba Minch visiting the villages of the Alaba people who arenoted for their beautifully painted huts, and the people of Wolita who have a colourfuldressings. O/N – Tourist Hotel.
June 12
Arba Minch – Key Afer – Jinka
You will visit the villages of the Konso people who are noted for their colourful cotton clothes, beautiful rock terraces and walled villages. These terraces and walled villages are registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage recently. Then, drive south to Jinka with a stop at Key Afer to visit the most colourful weekly market of the people of Benna, Ari and Tsemai. O/N – Jinka Resort Hotel or Orit Hotel.

Drive to Hana Mursi to Bodi Village You will see the Ceremony of Bodi men The Bodi people are neighbors to the Mursi Tribe. The Bodi people are agriculturalists who still engage in trade by barter system.These pastoral people revere their cows. Their cows are so special to them that its blood together with fresh milk is a source of food for this people. Rather than kill the cows, they make a hole in one of its veins to get the blood out and close it back with clay. These animals are also used in certain ceremonies. Among the ceremonies is the peculiar new year celebration,O/N Camping.

Bodi men compete to be the fattest in the village by drinking a gruesome mixture of blood and milk while living in isolation for SIX months
The champion fat man is then feted as a hero for the rest of his life. The most unique ceremony of the Bodi tribe is “Ka’el” – the holiday of the fat men. A few months before the onset of June or July, the beginning of a new year for the tribe, men begin to drink only blood and full fat milk from the cow, ceasing to do any physical work and pretty much stop moving. Bodi men sit in their homes and eat only fatty, high-calorie food for a few months. O/N Camping.

Drive back to Jinka
Jinka – Mursi Villages – Mago NP – Jinka
In the morning, drive to the villages of the Mursi people who are noted especially for
the women’s clay plates which are inserted in their lower lips. On the way to the Mursi village, you drive through the Mago National Park so you will have a chance to spot wild animals like Dik-Dik, Kudus, and Wild Dogs. After lunch at Jinka, you will visit the Cultural Market of the People of the Lower Omo Valley. O/N

Drive back to Arbaminch You will see Erbore Tribe in Woito who are
cattle keepers and have unique rectangular houses made of long grasses. They are also noted for using lots of things for jewelers such as nails, watch bands, pen caps, etc.Stop over to Konso spot the You will visit the villages of the Konso people who are noted for their colorful cotton clothes, beautiful rock terraces and walled villages. These terraces and walled villages are registered by UNESCO as a World Heritage recently.

Drive back to Addis In the evening you will be our guest at one of the best
traditional restaurants in Addis where you will taste the variety of Ethiopian meals and see the folkloric dance of the different people of Ethiopia.
Then be transferred out to the airport for your departure.
