Day 2:
After BF Drive to Harar. On the way, you will stop to visit the lively market at Kefira and the chat market, where the moderately-narcotic leaf is sold.

You’ll then spend a full day discovering the treasures hidden in the narrow alleyways of the walled city of Harar with its colorful markets, countless mosques and shrines, and unique Harari people and homes. The many amazing sites to visit include the House of Rimbaud, Ras Tafari’s House, Ras Mekonnen’s Palace, the Harari National Cultural Center, and the tomb of Emir Nur.

At night, you’ll meet the hyena man who feeds the hyenas every night just outside the walls of Harar. This tradition was started long ago to prevent these wild hyenas from hunting for food in the town. Guests are welcome, and encouraged, to feed the hyenas themselves. O/N in the Hotel

Day 4:Dire Dawa – Addis Ababa
Discover the Amazing Town of Dire Dawa
On your last day in Ethiopia, enjoy a city tour of Dire Dawa. You will visit the old colonial city, with its landmark French-built railway station. The Kefira market is the oldest in the city, though there are many other markets you can stop at during the day. You’ll browse the stalls, taking in the sights and smells, while you shop for delicious food or authentic souvenirs. You can also take some time to visit the neighborhoods of Kezira and Megaala.

Soon after, you’ll be transferred to the airport where you’ll depart for home. You may be leaving Ethiopia, but the experience here will have made memories to last a lifetime!
